Winter & Monthly Stays in Peachland
From October through April, MacKenzie House is available for stays of 28 nights or more at long-stay rates — a fully furnished three-bedroom home above Okanagan Lake, in a quiet, family-oriented neighbourhood.
A furnished home, not a hotel room
The whole top floor of the house is yours: three bedrooms sleeping up to eight, two bathrooms, a chef’s kitchen, a wrap-around deck with lake views, and a fully fenced yard. One dog is welcome on winter stays. An on-site caretaker lives in the separate basement suite with its own entrance, so the house is looked after through the winter without any loss of privacy.
The salt-water pool is closed from late September until mid-May.
A late winter morning on Okanagan Lake. The valley floor gets a fraction of the snow that falls on the mountains above it, and the lake does not freeze. Photographed at Okanagan Centre, north of Kelowna — not the view from the house.
Set up to work
360 Mbps fibre internet and a dedicated workspace at the dining table. Reliable enough to work a full week from the lake — here is what a month of remote work here actually looks like.
Quiet season rates
Monthly pricing well below the summer nightly rate, with the wineries, trails and restaurants open and uncrowded. Big White is 87 km away, about an hour and twenty.
Everything included
Fully furnished and equipped, washer in unit, free parking on the property, 55” TV. Arrive with a suitcase.
Who winter stays suit
Remote workers taking a season by the lake, families between homes, visitors staying near relatives for an extended trip, and anyone who wants the Okanagan without the July crowds. Minimum stay is 28 nights — which is deliberate: past 27 continuous nights, BC’s provincial accommodation taxes (PST and MRDT) no longer apply, so a month costs less than multiplying a summer night by thirty would suggest.
See the house
Twenty photographs of the rooms you would actually be living in. The pool is closed through the winter, so these are the inside of the house, the deck and the view — not the summer listing.

Booking Terms
Cancellation and Refunds
Your reservation is subject to the cancellation policy shown at the time of booking. Except where otherwise required by applicable law, refunds, credits and changes of dates are provided only in accordance with that cancellation policy.
Travel can be disrupted for many reasons outside our control, including illness or injury, family emergencies, bereavement, wildfire or smoke conditions in the surrounding region, adverse weather, road or flight disruptions, and changes in work or personal circumstances. These events affecting a guest’s ability or desire to travel do not alter the cancellation policy where the accommodation remains available for lawful occupancy.
For that reason, we strongly recommend purchasing travel and cancellation insurance sufficient to cover the full value of your stay at the time you book. If you choose not to purchase insurance, you accept the financial risk of circumstances affecting your trip that fall outside our cancellation policy.
Travel Insurance and Claims
If you need to cancel, please tell us as early as possible. We will promptly provide reasonable documentation, booking records or written confirmation requested by your insurer in connection with a travel-insurance claim.
Early departure — stays of 28 nights or more
Monthly and winter stays are reserved as a continuous block and priced accordingly. If you need to end your stay early, written notice is required, and you remain responsible for the rent to the end of the current month plus one further month — or to the end of the booked stay, whichever comes first.
