Two ways to stay
MacKenzie House is available all year — as a summer vacation home, and for monthly stays through the winter.
Summer stays · May to September
Nightly stays through the warm months, when the private salt-water pool is open (17 May – 22 September). Three bedrooms, sleeps eight, wrap-around deck with Okanagan Lake views, chef’s kitchen and a fully fenced yard. Dogs welcome.
Winter monthly stays · October to April
From October the house is offered for stays of 28 nights or more at long-stay rates. Fully furnished, 360 Mbps fibre internet with a dedicated workspace, on-site caretaker, and wine country without the summer crowds. One dog is welcome, and the pool is closed over winter.

Booking terms
Cancellation and Refunds
Your reservation is subject to the cancellation policy shown at the time of booking. Except where otherwise required by applicable law, refunds, credits and changes of dates are provided only in accordance with that cancellation policy.
Travel can be disrupted for many reasons outside our control, including illness or injury, family emergencies, bereavement, wildfire or smoke conditions in the surrounding region, adverse weather, road or flight disruptions, and changes in work or personal circumstances. These events affecting a guest’s ability or desire to travel do not alter the cancellation policy where the accommodation remains available for lawful occupancy.
For that reason, we strongly recommend purchasing travel and cancellation insurance sufficient to cover the full value of your stay at the time you book. If you choose not to purchase insurance, you accept the financial risk of circumstances affecting your trip that fall outside our cancellation policy.
Wildfires and Smoke
Wildfires and wildfire smoke can occur in British Columbia during the summer. The possibility of regional wildfire activity and smoke is specifically contemplated when you make your reservation. Smoke, air-quality conditions, or wildfire activity in the surrounding region do not, by themselves, entitle a guest to a refund, credit or change of dates outside the cancellation policy provided that the property remains available for lawful occupancy.
If an applicable government order prevents us from providing the accommodation, or if we are otherwise unable to provide the booked accommodation, the situation will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
Travel Insurance and Claims
If you need to cancel, please tell us as early as possible. We will promptly provide reasonable documentation, booking records or written confirmation requested by your insurer in connection with a travel-insurance claim.
Early departure — stays of 28 nights or more
Monthly and winter stays are reserved as a continuous block and priced accordingly. If you need to end your stay early, written notice is required, and you remain responsible for the rent to the end of the current month plus one further month — or to the end of the booked stay, whichever comes first.
Where we are able to re-book the released dates, we will refund the amount recovered, and we will make reasonable efforts to do so.

Our family of seven enjoyed our 5-night stay. The house was spacious, pristine, well appointed and equipped with a wonderful lake view. The pool was great with the hot Okanagan weather.
We had a wonderful weekend at this lovely home in Peachland! The view was incredible… Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was really well equipped which made it easy for home cooking! Would highly recommend for a group looking to spend a weekend in the area.
